Ladakh Bike Tour (6 Nights / 7 Days)

Day 1 – Arrival at Leh and Acclimatization.

Upon your arrival at Leh airport received and transfer to the hotel. We recommend that you take the day to rest and acclimatize yourself to the high altitude of 11,135 feet. In the evening, you can explore the Leh Market, visit the Leh Palace, or make your way to the serene Shanti Stupa situated atop a hill near Changspa, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the entire Leh town. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 – Leh

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will take a leisurely ride along the Leh – Srinagar Highway and explore some of the renowned attractions that dot the route. Our first stop will be the Hall of Fame museum, a tribute to the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the various wars that have affected the region. Continuing our journey, we will also visit the enchanting Magnetic Hill, the holy Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, and the breathtaking confluence of the Zanskar River and Indus River known as Sangam. In the afternoon, we will make our way back to Leh, where we will have the opportunity to visit the serene Spituk Monastry. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 – Leh – Khardung La (5602m) – Hunder (4000m)

Today, we are embarking on a journey from Leh to the enchanting Nubra valley, known for its captivating beauty in the trans-Himalayan region. Our route will take us through the renowned Khardungla pass, standing tall at an impressive altitude of 18,380 feet. It is renowned as the highest motorable pass worldwide, attracting thrill-seeking bikers and adventurous individuals from all corners of the globe.

Our journey will take us through the North Pullu check post, navigating through narrow roads and challenging blind curves until we eventually arrive at Diskit in the afternoon. Upon reaching Diskit, we will have the opportunity to visit the remarkable Diskit monastery. Additionally, we have plans to make our way towards the renowned Hunder Sand dunes, a highly sought-after destination in Ladakh, where we will have the opportunity to partake in an enjoyable camel ride. It is worth noting that Nubra happens to be the sole place in all of India where these magnificent creatures can be found.

Day 4 – Nubra – Turtuk – Nubra

Following breakfast at the camp/guesthouse in the morning, we will embark on a journey to the Turtuk sector. This area, which was once a part of Baltistan and under Pakistani administration until India liberated it in 1971, is home to the Balti ethnic group. These people have a distinct cultural heritage that sets them apart from Leh. We will have the opportunity to explore the villages in this region before returning to Hunder by evening. Overnight stay Nubra.

Day 5 – Nubra – Pangong Tso (4350m)

Today, we will embark on a journey to the renowned Pangong lake, considered to be the most famous attraction in Ladakh. This impressive body of water holds the title for being the largest brackish lake in Asia and the largest overall at this altitude. Our adventure entails following the same route until we reach Khalsar before diverting towards the breathtaking Shayok road. This path, though less frequented, is undeniably one of the most picturesque trails for motorcycling. As we make our way, expect to encounter water crossings and offroad sections, adding an extra element of excitement and enjoyment to the experience. Once we arrive at Pangong, we will continue our ride along the lake’s length, heading towards Merak, which serves as the ultimate destination permissible for foreigners.

Day 6 – Pangong Tso (4350m) to Leh (3500m)

Experience the enchanting sunrise at the lake during the early hours of the morning on our Ladakh Motorbike Tour. The captivating view and serene atmosphere will leave you yearning for more. As the day begins, we will embark on a journey through the nomadic expanse of Changthang, where we may encounter untamed wildlife roaming freely across the vast stretches. The challenging trails of the Changla pass, once the second highest motorable pass, present a thrilling adventure with their treacherous paths. The multitude of glacial water streams will further add to the excitement of the ride. Descending from the Changla pass, we will continue our journey to Leh, creating unforgettable memories along the way. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 7 – Departure Leh

In the morning after having breakfast, check out from the hotel and leave for the airport or taxi stand to return back home. The Ladakh bike Tour ends with lots of memories and adventures.
