Best of Sikkim (6 Nights / 7 Days)
Day 01: NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport – Gangtok (120 kilometers / 5 hours)
Upon arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport followed by a transfer to Gangtok (5,500 feet). Upon arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 02: Gangtok – Lachung (107 kilometers / 6 hours)
Following breakfast, checkout from the hotel with minimal luggage and embark on your journey to Lachung (8,500 feet), North Sikkim. Along the route, take a pause to appreciate several picturesque locations worth visiting such as Naga Waterfall, the confluence of Lachen Chu (river) and Lachung Chu (river) at Chungthang, as well as Bhim Nala Waterfall. Upon arrival in Lachung, check into your hotel. Overnight stat in Lachung.
Day 03: Lachung – Yumthang Valley – Gangtok
An early morning drive to Yumthang Valley (12,000 feet, known as the Valley of Flowers). On the return journey, visit the Hot Spring, renowned for its supposed medicinal properties. Return to the resort for lunch and proceed to Gangtok (5,500 feet). Weather permitting, you may catch a glimpse of the majestic Khangchendzonga from the Singhik viewpoint along the way. Upon arrival in Gangtok, check into your hotel. The remainder of the evening is free for personal activities. Overnight accommodation in Gangtok.
Day 04: Gangtok – Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir (Nathulla Pass on Direct Payment Basis)
After breakfast in the morning, commence the excursion to Tsomgo Lake – situated at an elevation of 12,400 feet / 3,780 meters / 43 kilometers in 3 hours one way, with an average depth of 50 feet. The refreshing waters of the lake harmonize perfectly with the surrounding scenic beauty and Baba Harbajan Mandir (Holy Temple). Return to Gangtok and Overnight stay at the hotel. Day 05: Gangtok – Pelling (130 kilometers / 5 hours)
After breakfast, depart for Pelling (6,300 feet), check into your hotel, and enjoy a leisurely evening at the Pelling hotel. Pelling is a diminutive municipality in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim, situated at the base of Mount Khangchendzonga. The late-17th-century Buddhist Sanga Choling Monastery boasts panoramic mountain vistas. Pemayangtse Monastery showcases mural artworks, sculptures, and a gilded effigy of Guru Padsambhava.
Day 06: Pelling
After breakfast, embark on full-day sightseeing. The first half of the tour includes visits to Darap village, Rimbi Waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake, and Khangchendzongha Waterfalls. In the afternoon, commence the second half of the tour, which includes Pemayangtse Monastery, Sang-Ngag Choling (Sky Walk – Direct Payment Basis), and the new helipad ground. Overnight accommodation in Pelling.
Day 07: Pelling – NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport (137 kilometers / 5 hours)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.
